The BIOMIM'4SHORE project aims to deploy a complete range of Hybrid Nature-Based Solutions for coastal resilience, ecological rehabilitation of shallow coastal waters, ecological retrofitting of port infrastructures, and support for small-scale fisheries, within a pilot coastal city, Palavas-les-Flots.
Winner of the French government’s i-Lab 2024 Innovation Contest, this large-scale project is supported by the Pôle Mer Méditerranée, the Innovation Hub of the University of Montpellier, the City of Palavas-les-Flots, the Marine Reserve of the Palavasian Coast, the Palavasian Small-Scale Fishers' Guild, and the Port of Palavas-les-Flots.
